• Co-ordination with the Planning Department for the yarn dyeing program.

• Machine wise planning as per capacity and priority

• Taking care of yarn dyeing production & quality.

• Maintenance of the Inventory – dyes, chemicals and stationery.

• Taking care of Quality checks of the dyed yarn, shade approval of yarn

• Taking care of machine maintenance with quarterly, half yearly and yearly maintenance with co-ordination of Maintenance team. Taking care of spare parts inventory.

• Regular training of the workmen and supervisory staff on quality issues

• Handled shade matching in lab and dyeing.

• Co-ordination with Planning for the program and quality control dept. for testing of fastness properties.

• Taking care of testing of washing, Light and Perspiration fastness.

• Key user of the SAP software from the department for material movement, Recipe management and Inventory management.

• Co – ordination with laboratory, Design and planning departments for day-to-day production requirements and sampling activities.

• Production planning according to priority and shipment requirements.

• Maintenance of the Inventory – dyes, chemicals and stationery

• Taking care of Quality checks of the dyed yarn, shade approval of yarn

• Handled all types of yarn dyeing like Pure Cotton, Linen, Viscose, Silk, Polyester.

• Worked on Sedomaster – centralized dyehouse automation software.

• Undergone various trainings like “Textile Dyeing Manager Training”, Fire hydrant wet drill, Training on Safety and “Costing in Recipe and Process Development”.

• Yarn dyeing production and quality inspection.

• Besides, again for going on bulk production all color wise RCVD sewing threads have to approve by Quality manager or merchandiser. Lab matching of shades in laboratory

• Machine wise planning of dyeing lots

• Worked on Jiggers, Winches and Soft flows for the dyeing of Chiffon, Georgette, Crepe Satin fabrics.
