Reporting To: Head of Factory Operations
A reputed Garment Accessories company is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager / AGM – Distribution & Delivery Operations to manage the company’s finished goods delivery and distribution processes. The incumbent will ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient product deliveries while maintaining high standards of store and warehouse operations. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and coordination across multiple departments including production, marketing, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute route plans for product deliveries in coordination with the marketing team, ensuring cost efficiency and timely service.
- Communicate with marketing to address urgent customer delivery needs and coordinate with production for scheduling.
- Supervise delivery personnel, vehicle loading/unloading, and track all delivery operations.
- Resolve distribution-related issues and communicate updates to relevant departments.
- Coordinate with the Credit Realization Department for receiving challans and other payment-related documentation.
- Handle customer store queries regarding delivery and coordinate product return for wrong or damaged goods.
- Ensure VAT challans and related documents are properly managed and issued.
- Prepare and maintain regular reports on delivered and undelivered stocks.
- Maintain proper store discipline, cleanliness, and safety protocols for employees and materials.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all delivery and store transactions.
- Supervise and evaluate distribution and store staff performance; provide guidance and feedback for improvement.
