∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Designing Technology
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology,Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
4 to 5 years in the relevant position
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Categorize and forecasting the trends forecasting before the season starts.
∎ Research the market trends both (previous & current), theme, technology, and products via open sources like internet, magazines, trend fairs etc.
∎ Create hand-drawn sketches, designs, flat patterns, technical drawings, and other required art /illustration.
∎ Apply garments patternmaking and garments fitting techniques to ensure proper construction.
∎ Preparing the new collection according to the trends, theme, and seasons.
∎ Developing samples as per buyer's tech packs.
∎ Prepare sketches and develop samples accordingly.
∎ Assessment & Inspecting of garments product of design sample, Fit sample & to comply with all technical points are applied in the products as per technical sheet.
∎ Experimenting of washes and key details for the new collection.
∎ Developing samples in co-ordination with the Pattern, Cutting, Sewing, washing, embroidery and printing.
∎ Connect, communicate, and coordinate with sourcing department to arrange fabrics/trims on time to meet customers required date.
∎ Preparing showroom or window display based on themes from/for the buyers.
∎ Conduct brainstorming, designing, and producing concepts.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Art & Sketch, fashion Design
∎ Required software proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO-3D
∎ Experience in apparel industry preferably Denim and Non-Denim with additional style sense on bottoms/tops/outerwear.
∎ Development experience with brands like Levi's, H&M, JC Penny, INDITEX, G-Star, American Eagle is mandatory.
