• Minimum 02 years of proven experience in international import operations, preferably in Plastic/Polymer manufacturing Industry.

• Solid understanding of LC procedures, import documentation, customs clearance, and international trade laws.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage complex, multi-country sourcing and deliver results under tight timelines.

• Experience with ERP systems and import management software.

Primitek Group is looking for an experienced Sr. Executive/Executive, SCM (Foreign Procurement) to Assist all global sourcing and import operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement of raw materials, machinery, and accessories etc. from International markets to meet industrial production demands efficiently and cost-effectively.

• Assist the full cycle of international import operations including LC opening, documentation, shipment follow-up, and customs clearance.

• Source raw materials, industrial machinery, and accessories from international markets in alignment with production requirements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, shipping agents, freight forwarders, banks, and regulatory authorities.

• Prepare, verify, and process all necessary import documentation: PI, LC, Bill of Lading, Packing List, Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Insurance Certificate, etc.

• Track and monitor shipment schedules to avoid delays in project timelines and ensure on-time delivery aligned with production schedules.

• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, import policies, HS codes, SROs, and all trade-related legal frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Production, Accounts, Store, etc.) to align import plans with business demands.

• Negotiate shipping terms, costs, and delivery timelines with suppliers and logistic partners.

• Prepare import budgets, cost forecasts, vendor performance reports, and shipment tracking reports for management.

• Maintain records and generate import tracking reports, cost analysis, and vendor performance summaries.

• Stay updated on international trade regulations, customs policy changes, and global supply chain risks to ensure smooth operations.
