Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Applicants should have prior working experience in the hotel and resort, along with a graduate degree, preferably in Hospitality Management or a related field. Most highly, their educational background should align with the requirements of the role.
∎ It is essential to foster the right mindset from the very beginning, proactively taking the lead in establishing and developing each department—essence like a pre-opening team member. A strong command of computer operations across all formats & proficiency in PMS, along with communication skills. Additionally, a well-groomed sense of hospitality is expected to ensure excellence in service and teamwork.
∎ Fully committed to working extra hours, regardless of duty schedule, including weekends and government holidays, to effectively handle any emergency situations.
∎ Supervise Guest on arrival and departure.
∎ Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
∎ Ensure vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
∎ Ensure cleaning and stocking restrooms.
∎ Ensure cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
∎ Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
∎ Assisting guests when necessary.
∎ Keeping the linen room stocked.
∎ Ensure properly cleaning upholstered furniture.
∎ Training to subordinate staff
∎ Must possess strong organization time management skills, attention to detail.
∎ Must be guest service focused and a team player.
∎ Positive attitude and outgoing personality is essential.
∎ Professional in demeanour and presentation.
∎ Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently.
∎ Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
