Responsibilities & Context: The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining quality standards, managing staff, and achieving business goals. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
Customer Service
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests.
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements when necessary.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Conduct staff meetings and performance evaluations.
- Motivate team members and ensure compliance with company policies.
Financial Management
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, and overall financial performance.
- Prepare sales reports and manage cash handling procedures.
- Work on cost control, budgeting, and improving profitability.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and labor laws.
- Maintain proper documentation, checklists, and reports.
- Enforce company rules and health & safety policies.
