Responsibilities & Context:

Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and empanel reliable vendors and suppliers for various resort and park requirements.

  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, payment schedules, and delivery timelines to secure the best value without compromising quality.

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors while continuously assessing their performance (OTIF: On-Time, In-Full).

Procurement Operations

  • Oversee the daily procurement cycle: reviewing Purchase Requisitions (PRs), issuing Purchase Orders (POs), and tracking deliveries.

  • Coordinate with diverse departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Landscaping, and Entertainment) to understand and fulfill their specific material needs.

  • Ensure all procured items meet the resort’s quality, safety, and hygiene standards (especially for F&B and ride safety).

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Collaborate with the store/warehouse team to monitor inventory levels and implement optimal reorder levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.

  • Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and seasonal demands to optimize buying strategies (e.g., bulk purchasing for peak tourist seasons).

  • Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses and implement cost-saving initiatives to meet budgetary goals.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, invoices, contracts, and asset registries.

  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, local tax laws, custom duties (for imported park equipment), and environmental regulations.

  • Assist in internal and external audits related to inventory and procurement.
