∎ Age 28 to 36 years
∎ Additional training or certification in steel rolling, lean manufacturing, or maintenance management will be an advantage.
∎ Experience in managing both manual and automated rolling lines is preferred.
∎ Strong knowledge of rolling mill technology, material flow, and pass design.
∎ Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making ability under pressure.
∎ Proficiency in Google Workspace, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.
∎ Strong communication and leadership qualities.
∎ Additional training or certification in steel rolling, lean manufacturing, or maintenance management will be an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan, monitor, and control rolling production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
∎ Ensure effective operation of rolling mill equipment (stands, shears, cooling beds, coilers, etc.).
∎ Monitor temperature, rolling speed, and mill load to ensure optimal production conditions.
∎ Ensure products meet dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, and surface finish requirements.
∎ Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to take corrective actions for any deviations.
∎ Maintain detailed production and inspection records.
∎ Supervise rolling mill operators, technicians, and helpers across shifts.
∎ Train and guide subordinates on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
∎ Maintain discipline and ensure effective manpower utilization.
∎ Identify equipment faults or performance issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely resolution.
∎ Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for uninterrupted operations.
∎ Prepare daily production reports and submit them to senior management.
∎ Maintain logs for downtime, yield losses, and any non-conformities.
∎ Recommend process improvements for higher efficiency and reduced waste.
∎ Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with EHS (environmental, health, and safety) regulations.
∎ Conduct safety toolbox talks and hazard assessments for rolling area activities.
