Design and Development:

• Contribute to the design process for knitwear collections from concept to final product.

• Create innovative and trendsetting designs that align with the brand’s vision and target market.

• Develop detailed technical sketches and specifications for each design.

• Select appropriate yarns, fabrics, and trims to achieve the desired look and feel of the garments.

  Trend Analysis and Research:

• Contribute to market research and analyze fashion trends to stay ahead of industry developments.

• Collaborate with the merchandising team to understand customer preferences and market needs.

  Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible and meet production standards.

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure designs are aligned with marketing strategies and sales objectives.

• Communicate design concepts and ideas clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.

  Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical guidance on knitwear construction, fit, and finishing techniques.

• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and are producible within budget constraints.

• Troubleshoot design and production issues as they arise and provide effective solutions.

  Project Handling:

• Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date design records, including sketches, samples, and specifications.

• Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, ensuring they meet design and quality standards.
