• Familiarity with PVsyst and other PV design and simulation software.

• Adequate knowledge and hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

• Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems, including network layout, load flow and protection concepts.

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Solar Engineer to join Walton’s Renewable Energy team at our headquarters. The successful candidate will design, supervise installation, commission and support the operation and maintenance (O&M) of rooftop, ground-mounted and floating PV systems. This role requires hands-on field supervision, strong design skills and experience with PV modeling tools.

• Prepare complete system designs for PV projects (rooftop, ground-mounted and floating), including shading analysis, mechanical racking plans, geo-location specifications, interconnection details and labeling.

• Develop PV layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), bills of materials (BOM), 3D project models and structural fabrication drawings.

• Perform AC and DC cable sizing, earthing calculations, inverter/string configuration and protection coordination.

• Supervise site installation-related works to ensure quality and compliance.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, test reports and as-built records.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
