Education

• Diploma/Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a recognized and accredited university.

• Candidates with specialized coursework or training in Renewable Energy or Power Systems will be given preference.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in solar photovoltaic (PV) system design, estimation, and implementation.

• Proven experience working with commercial and/or industrial solar projects will be considered a strong advantage.

• Experience using industry-standard design and simulation software such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or equivalent tools.

Additional Requirements

• Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems including grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid configurations.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical schematics, and system layout preparation.

• Familiarity with relevant standards, codes, and regulations (IEC, NEC, or local authority guidelines).

• Ability to perform load analysis, system sizing, and energy yield estimation.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability.

• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Bangla.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities & Context

• Design and develop efficient and cost-effective solar PV systems tailored to client requirements.

• Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and shading analysis.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and technical proposals, BOQ.

• Perform system sizing, energy production forecasting, and financial analysis where required.

• Coordinate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and installation crews to ensure design accuracy and smooth execution.

• Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.

• Provide technical guidance and support during project implementation, testing, and commissioning phases.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in renewable energy.

• Requires regular site visits to oversee and assist in the technical installation of solar panels and comprehensive solar projects.

Job Location

• Dhaka (Need to visit field frequently).
