We are seeking a skilled and proactive Software Engineer (Web Development) to maintain, enhance, and scale our Laravel-based e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP, Laravel, and database optimization, along with a solid understanding of system integrations and modern web development practices. This role requires a problem-solver who can collaborate across teams and deliver high-quality, efficient, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and improve the existing Laravel-based e-commerce system

• Design, develop, and implement new features aligned with business requirements

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness

• Integrate and manage ERP systems, payment gateways, SMS, and email services

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications

• Enhance database architecture, optimize queries, and improve overall system efficiency

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and system issues promptly

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers for seamless user experience

• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, data protection, and SEO

• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in PHP and Laravel framework

• Strong understanding of MVC architecture

• Expertise in MySQL, including query optimization and database design

• Proven experience in developing REST APIs

• Experience with payment gateway integrations

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git (GitHub/GitLab)

• Basic knowledge of Linux servers and deployment processes

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Experience working with e-commerce platforms

• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and scalability practices

• Experience in system integration (ERP or third-party services)
