Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform coding for assigned units, and participating in related area.
∎ Reviews and discussions on change requests.
∎ Building application module according to specification.
∎ Performing tests and maintaining logs and correcting problems.
∎ Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
∎ Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
∎ Prepare Low Level Design.
∎ Support activities of software engineer/ architect as required.
∎ Install, support and maintenance of customized application software.
∎ Prepare user manuals.
∎ Conduct the peer review.
∎ R&D for the new technology.
∎ Deploy on Google Play.
∎ Client Support.
∎ 3rd party API integration on Android application.
∎ Writing technical documentation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge on Java, Kotlin & Android.
∎ Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
∎ Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
∎ Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
∎ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
∎ Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
∎ Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
∎ Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
∎ Well understanding of Agile methodology.
