Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing database programs
∎ Assisting database development teams in designing new database programs that meet the organization's data storage needs
∎ Monitoring databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance
∎ Writing new support programs and scripts to increase data storage capacity
∎ Reviewing database and user reports, as well as system information
∎ Performing debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving conflicts
∎ Adhering to best practices in securely storing, backing up, and archiving data
∎ Documenting processes related to database design, configuration, and performance
∎ Keeping abreast of developments and best practices in database engineering
∎ Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented design and implementation
∎ Analyzing system requirements and delegating development tasks
∎ Design and build applications database for the mobile based platform (responsive on both android and iOS)
∎ Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
∎ Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
∎ Help maintain code quality, organization, and authorization
∎ Maintain versioning (Beta/Sandbox and Release versions) of app Play-Store (Android) and iCloud (iPhone)
∎ Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
∎ Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
∎ Able to work to timelines and under pressure
∎ Good Problem-Solving skills with an eye for clean and maintainable codes
∎ Experience of Designing and building advanced native applications for the mobile platform
∎ Must have hands on SQL query writing skills for complex requirements
∎ Sound knowledge in Object Oriented Programming (i.e. OOPs) concepts in JAVA
∎ Sound knowledge in Rest API, HTML, Bootstrap/CSS, JavaScript, Android, iOS, XML, Java, Java Swing
∎ Work with team members to design solutions that are supported by the architecture of the existing systems
∎ Work with outside data sources for integration using REST APIs or other web services
∎ She/he must be able to focus on the project priorities in order to deliver the required product at the scheduled time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Experience of Designing and building advanced native applications for the android/iOS platform
∎ Must have hands on SQL query writing skills for complex requirements
∎ Experience of python coding especially for devices like Raspberry Pi and other single board computers will be a big plus
∎ Must have good experience in object-oriented programming using C#, ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core, MSSQL, EF / EF Core, REST Web API
∎ Good Understanding of Progressive Web Application (PWA) is a good advantage for future development
∎ Should have experience in Web front-end technologies - JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Angular etc.
∎ Should have experience in Windows Server, IIS, Source control - Git / TFVC
∎ In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
∎ Extensive experience with database technologies and architecture
∎ Sound knowledge of best practices in database engineering and data security
∎ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
∎ Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
∎ Excellent collaboration and communication skills
∎ Exposure to architectural patterns of large-scale web application is a plus
∎ Will be a bonus if candidate has experience in big data/IOT technologies - Python, AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, MQTT, NoSQL databases and RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL and MONGO DB
∎ Ability to design, develop and implement scalable and distributed microservice based platforms
∎ Proficient with front-end development languages including JavaScript, react.js or angular, HTML5, and CSS
∎ Experience on with GIT, Docker, Scrum Framework
∎ Self-directed, results-oriented, with a high sense of accountability for delivering quality against deadlines.
