Experience:
Bachelor`s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Rights, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years` experience in social mobilization, community development, or a related area.
Demonstrated understanding of child sex trafficking, child protection, and child rights.
Strong communication, facilitation, community-level advocacy and interpersonal skills.
Experience in preparing detailed quantitative and qualitative reports.
Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
Proficiency in local language(s) and English.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Commitment to the mission and values of the Freedom Fund.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 37 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Rights & Governance (R&G) is considered as one of the cross-cutting sectors of DAM dedicated toward the right-based developmental approach. DAM is going to implement the project “Enhancing Protection of Child Sex Trafficking Survivors in Bangladesh Project” in Dhaka and Jashore district funded by the United States Department of State with the support of Freedom Fund and looking for the following position:
Position Title: Social Mobilizer
Project:Enhancing Protection of Child Sex Trafficking Survivors in Bangladesh Project
Location:Dhaka
Reporting to:District Coordinator
Objective: To support for implementing the project activities through effective social mobilization, ensuring the protection and rights of children, particularly those vulnerable to or affected by child sex trafficking.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Mobilization:
Engage with community members, local leaders, and other stakeholders to raise awareness about child protection and child rights.
Facilitate community meetings, focus groups, and other participatory activities to encourage community involvement and ownership of the project.
Training and Capacity Building:
Organize and conduct training sessions for community members, local authorities, and partner organizations on issues related to child sex trafficking and child protection.
Support the development of training materials and tools.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive quantitative and qualitative reports on project activities, outcomes, and impacts.
Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of project interventions and make recommendations for improvements.
Community-level Advocacy and Networking:
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community-based organizations.
Advocate for policies and practices that protect children and support their rights.
Child Protection:
Identify and refer cases of child sex trafficking and exploitation to appropriate services.
Ensure all project activities are conducted in line with child protection policies and procedures.
Community Support:
Provide support and guidance to community groups and networks working on child protection issues.
Facilitate the development of community-led initiatives to prevent and respond to child sex trafficking.
Must have at least 3 years working experiences in this field.
Salary: Consolidated Salary: 23,100 BDT (consolidated) per month
Compensation & Other Benefits: Festival / Prorata Bonus (As per organizational policy).
