Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform the required tasks to handle & manage sewing Production according to target.
∎ Responsible for minimum 10 sewing lines production according to target.
∎ Supervise and direct activities of sewing department to meet daily production target.
∎ Verify line layout of individual style and adjustment through balancing of machine and skilled operatives.
∎ Review the monthly sewing production schedule and work out plan to determine staffing and other resources requirements to meet the deadlines.
∎ Monitor, control and utilization of men, machine and material for optimum productivity.
∎ Handling sewing production activities and meet on time shipment deadline.
∎ Maintain quality product for each style and no compromise with quality at everywhere.
∎ Report on productivity, materials, inventory and reconciliation of individual style.
∎ Lead and implement new technology and modern techniques to bring upon continuous improvement enhancing productivity and efficiency.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero NC.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Establish effective communication with finishing and cutting manager to fulfill the order quantity and avoid any short shipment.
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy work place.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
∎ Ensure hundred percent availability of human and other resources for his/her respective line.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, and identify training needs.
∎ Ability to work hard and control pressure.
∎ Team leader with proactive interpersonal skills.

∎ AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Phulbaria, Tetuljhora, Savar, Dhaka and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sewing Incharge for the Knit Garments.
