∎ Excellent Linux system administration knowledge (RHEL/CentOS).
∎ Good to have Server Hardware configuration and administration.
∎ Experience in container orchestration i.e. Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
∎ Knowledge on Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence will be a plus.
∎ Good to have knowledge on Build Pipeline Process.
∎ Good to have MySQL/Maria DB administration knowledge.
∎ Good to have Elasticsearch Stack (ELK) monitoring experience knowledge.
∎ Proficient in scripting, automation of regular actions using bash.
∎ Desired expertise in Java microservice based application debugging.
∎ Considered a plus: DevOPS mindset.
∎ Familiarity with Support management discipline e.g., ITIL.
∎ Experience deploying mission critical systems, internal or on customer site.
∎ Experience with planning for SLA-quality support.
∎ Requires occasional 24x7 on call support upon notification of critical alert or due to
∎ maintenance to minimize outages for end user population.
∎ Knowledge of telecom network architecture is a HUGE PLUS.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Analyse frequent problems and report to development team.
∎ Maintain the Service Level Agreement.
∎ Manage and monitor the installed systems and their infrastructure.
∎ Manage the configuration of each system as customer’s needs change.
∎ To support multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity – as defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces - with multiple concurrent.
∎ To act as the technical liaison between operations teams, engineers, and architects,
∎ providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.
∎ To perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes.
∎ To forecast system utilization patterns and identify modifications or upgrades.
∎ To lead or provide technical direction to plan, design, and execute tasks according to the engineering requirements.
∎ To provide operational support to developers and SQA teams.
∎ Working in a challenging environment, supports the business in day-to-day operations, as well as facilitating business changes.To develop, maintain, continuously improve, and support both internal and client-facing IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and telecom systems. To provide expert infrastructure oversight, ensuring successful delivery and performance of IT services for our different teams and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service delivery Targets.
