Position Overview

The Senior SQA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of software solutions through systematic testing, automation, and quality assurance techniques. The role will collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to implement end-to-end testing, identify defects, introduce automation, and ensure smooth releases across multiple platforms including ERP, mobile apps, and web applications.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

A. Software Testing & QA Execution

• Develop test plans and detailed test cases based on user requirements and system specifications.
• Perform manual testing across different platforms (web, mobile, ERP).
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and performance testing.
• Ensure quality of application features and confirm alignment with business requirements.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Maintain and manage the defect life cycle using JIRA.

B. Automation & Performance Testing

• Automate repetitive test cases using Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO.
• Perform Android/iOS automation testing using Appium.
• Implement regression test automation pipelines integrated with CI/CD.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter.
• Use AI-powered tools for automated/augmented testing (where applicable).

C. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare user manuals, test reports, test metrics, and release documentation.
• Provide accurate bug reports with root cause analysis and test evidence.
• Contribute to maintaining Confluence pages for knowledge sharing.

D. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, DevOps, BA, and product teams to resolve issues.
• Collect user feedback and incorporate insights into testing strategy.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review meetings.

E. Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate test processes and suggest quality enhancements.
• Conduct research & development on tools, frameworks, and testing methodologies.
• Support service requests and technical improvement initiatives.
