Experience:

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with over 6 years in Tech lead roleTechnical Skills

• Strong expertise in:PythonDjango / Django REST FrameworkAdvanced knowledge of Odoo ERP architecture and full module customization.

• Strong full-stack development experienceProficiency in frontend frameworks (React / Vue / Angular preferred)Solid understanding of:RESTful APIsSQL & database optimizationGit version controlExperience with Linux-based environments.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Odoo ERP who can lead ERP architecture, development, optimization, and project delivery

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead end-to-end system architecture, design, and implementation of web and ERP solutions.

• Define coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

• Review and approve technical designs, code, and deployment strategies.

• Provide technical direction and hands-on support to development teams.

• Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Full Stack Development

• Actively participate in hands-on coding using:

  • Python, Django

  • Frontend technologies (XML, React / Vue / Angular / JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

• Design and develop REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.

• Optimize database design and queries (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Integrate third-party APIs and external systems.

Odoo ERP Development & Customization

• Lead Odoo ERP customization, extension, and integration across all major modules:

  • Sales, Purchase, Inventory

  • Accounting, Finance

  • HR, Payroll, Attendance

  • Manufacturing (MRP)

  • CRM, Project, Helpdesk

• Develop and customize:

  • Odoo models, views, workflows, and reports

  • Custom modules and business logic

• Handle Odoo version upgrades, performance tuning, and security hardening.

• Integrate Odoo with external systems (payment gateways, SMS, email, BI tools, etc.).

Team & Project Management

• Mentor and coach junior and senior developers.

• Conduct code reviews, technical assessments, and knowledge sharing sessions.

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

• Estimate tasks, plan sprints, and support Agile / Scrum processes.

• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.

DevOps & Quality Assurance

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Ensure automated testing, code quality checks, and monitoring.

• Work with DevOps teams on:

  • Docker / containerization

  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure – preferred)

• Enforce security best practices and compliance standards.
