Job Context:
∎ Save The Children in Bangladesh is going to launch an integrated COVID-19 Response Project with aim to provide access to quality humanitarian assistance through integrated health, protection and WASH services to minimize the adverse impacts of COVID-19 in Teknaf and Chakaria Upazilas of Cox`s Bazar, and Lama and Alikadam Upazilas of Bandarban districts.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The purpose of this role is to provide leadership of the integrated program, supporting Save the Children and partners to deliver the intended services by maintaining standards and quality, will ensure integration among sectors and stakeholders, enable learning culture with a focus on expanding capacity in inclusion, gender and safeguarding. As well as establish rigorous management processes that support high quality and safe programming across the different components.
∎ The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the quality of the implementation of the project activities, providing overall strategic leadership and managerial oversight of the administrative, programmatic, and operational aspects. The incumbent will lead the Heath Program delivery in all area and will also be the Lead Budget Holder for other components (Child Protection and WASH). S/he will be accountable for the timely and quality implementation of activities, ensuring compliance of SCI and donor rules and regulations and effective stakeholder relationship management. S/he will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the donor, Governments and relevant I/NGOs in Cox's Bazar and Bandarban Districts, acting as the primary liaison and program representative. Key responsibilities of this position is to overarching leadership and governance of the project, ensuring that the partners work together effectively and efficiently, that there is transparent and active communication amongst stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years' experience, including 3 years in management position
∎ Work experience in emergency health program will be an added advantage
∎ Experience in gender-sensitive programming and at least an understanding of the importance of MHPSS and inclusion in INGO programming.
∎ Previous experience in managing complex, multi-sector, multi-stakeholder programmes, as well as leading on the coordination and writing of donor report
∎ Solid experience of programme implementation in complex and insecure environments, and capacity and willingness to be flexible and accommodating in difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances
∎ Demonstrated experience in designing and facilitating learning initiatives and capacity to supervise, train, mentor and coach staff
∎ Experience of representation and ability to represent SCI effectively in external forums
∎ Proven capacity in relationship building, influencing, negotiating and inter-personal skills
