• MIS, Accounting or relevent backgrounds will be preferred.

• At least 5 years’ proven experience in MIS, preferably within the microfinance or non-profit/NGO sector.

• Hands-on experience with a dedicated Microfinance MIS software (eg: Microfin360)

• Hands-on experience with online loan application processing and implementation.

• Hands-on experience with preparation & execution of online noting system.

• Strong ability to analyze microfinance performance metrics (PAR, Repayment Rate, Yield on Portfolio) and translate raw data into clear, actionable reports.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic understanding of microfinance principles, and loan portfolio management.

• Excellent interpersonal/self-motivational and team work skills.

Job Context:

DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) (an institution of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, MRA license-00109-02243-00747) is working to enhance the socio-economic condition of poor people for creating their employment opportunities, raising income and increasing their asset and financial resources. DFED is currently looking for competent and experienced Senior Principal Offier for MIS & IT Department. The personnel would be responsible for efficient collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of all operational and financial data related to the microfinance program. This includes managing the Core MIS system, ensuring data integrity, producing regulatory reports, and generating management insights into loan portfolio performance and serving attitudes to work under MIS & IT Department.

Job Location:

Head Office, DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED), Adabar , Dhaka with occational travel to outside Dhaka as per organizational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the integrity of the Microfinance MIS software microfin360.

• Develop and generate routine reports on key microfinance indicators, including Portfolio at Risk (PAR), Loan Loss Ratio, Disbursement vs. Collection tracking, and active client numbers for various departments and senior management

• Implement daily and weekly checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of field data, including client registration, loan disbursement, and repayment records.

• Oversee or perform timely data entry, daily/weekly reconciliation of cash and bank transactions, and ensure consistency between field records and the central database.

• Provide first-level support to field staff (Loan Officers, Branch Managers) for MIS-related issues, troubleshooting data entry errors, and system functionality problems.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on branch performance, staff productivity, savings/deposit balances, and operational efficiency.

• Generate statutory reports required by regulatory body and donor agencies (eg: MRA, PKSF, Banks) ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and formats.

• Fulfill urgent data requests from management for decision-making, such as modeling the impact of loan products, analyzing collection trends in specific geographic areas etc.

• Conduct training sessions for new and existing field staff on the proper use of the MIS, CIB Verification and data collection tools, and reporting formats.

• Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the data flow process and recommend system or procedural improvements to enhance data management speed and reliability.

• Ensure routine system backups are performed and data security protocols are followed to protect sensitive client and financial information.

• Learn DFED Microfinance’s new policies and procedures, law and regulations.

• Any other job assigned by the Management from time to time.

• Grade-9, (Gross Salary-57,255/-) per month.
