Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain, optimize, and extend our existing Drupal-based backend.
∎ Ensure stability, security, and performance of backend services.
∎ Collaborate with mobile developers to refine RESTful APIs for app integration.
∎ Develop and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
∎ Implement Stripe API for payment processing and ensure secure transactions.
∎ Optimize MySQL database performance and ensure efficient query execution.
∎ Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment and testing.
∎ Monitor server health, logs, and API performance for proactive issue resolution.
∎ Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

∎ We already have a Drupal-based backend and are looking for a self-driven Senior PHP Backend Developer to maintain, optimize, and extend our existing system. This is a critical role in ensuring the backend remains scalable, secure, and efficient, while supporting new mobile app integrations.
∎ About the Role
∎ We are looking for a Senior PHP Backend Developer specializing in Drupal to support and improve our existing backend infrastructure. You will work closely with Android and iOS developers to ensure seamless API integration, performance optimizations, and system stability. If you are self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to take ownership, this role is for you.
∎ Responsibilities

∎ Requirements
∎ ✅ 5+ years of experience in backend development with PHP & Drupal
∎ ✅ Strong experience with Drupal 8/9/10 and custom module development
∎ ✅ Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating with mobile applications
∎ ✅ Hands-on experience with Swagger for API documentation
∎ ✅ Experience integrating Stripe API for payments
∎ ✅ Strong grasp of MySQL performance optimization and query tuning
∎ ✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
∎ ✅ Hands-on experience with Linux server management, cron jobs, and debugging tools
∎ ✅ Self-motivated, able to work independently, and deliver results with minimal supervision
∎ ✅ Comfortable working in a fully remote environment with daily checkups
∎ Nice to Have
∎ ➕ Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, caching strategies (Redis, Memcached)
∎ ➕ Background in leading projects or mentoring junior developers
∎ ➕ Experience working with IoT platforms, sports telemetry, or real-time data processing
