💼 About the Role

For a solo business owner and coach helping women entrepreneurs build businesses that feel aligned, confident, and successful — without burnout or overthinking.

We create consistent content across platforms — Reels, podcast interviews, YouTube videos, workshops, and live sessions — and I’m looking for a skilled, reliable, and creative Full-Time Video Editor to support ongoing content production.

You’ll receive raw, pre-recorded clips directly from me and focus on polished editing, clear storytelling, and consistent delivery across platforms.

This is a full-time, long-term role with daily collaboration and growth potential as the brand continues to expand.


🎥 What You’ll Do

✂️ Short-Form Video Editing (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)

  • Edit 3–4 short vertical videos per day (30–60 seconds each).

  • Add captions, hooks, overlays, and light transitions following platform best practices.

  • Keep pacing strong and the first 3 seconds engaging.

  • Export platform-ready versions for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.


💼 LinkedIn Video Editing

  • Edit 2–3 professional videos per day (30–90 seconds).

  • Horizontal (16:9) or square (1:1) format.

  • Focus on clarity, pacing, and tone appropriate for LinkedIn.

  • Add captions, name tags, and minimal transitions.

  • Maintain a calm, polished, and conversational style.


▶️ YouTube Video Editing

  • Edit 2–3 YouTube videos per week (typically 5–15 minutes).

  • Clean up pacing, remove filler, and ensure smooth flow.

  • Add basic intro/outro elements when needed.

  • Light visual enhancements (text callouts, simple transitions).

  • Export YouTube-ready files with correct resolution and audio levels.

  • Add timestamps or chapter markers.


📲 Instagram & Facebook Stories

  • Create 5–6 story sets per week (3–5 slides each).

  • Use photos or short video clips.

  • Add text overlays, subtle animations, and motion effects.

  • Suggest simple interactive elements (polls, countdowns, question boxes).

  • Ensure alignment with the weekly content theme and brand tone.

  • Deliver ready-to-post story files optimized for mobile.


📁 Organization & Delivery

  • Export videos in correct formats:

    • 9:16 — Reels, TikTok, Stories, Shorts

    • 16:9 or 1:1 — LinkedIn & YouTube

  • Maintain clean folder structures and clear naming conventions.

  • Typical turnaround: same day or next business day, depending on volume.


🖼️ Additional Tasks

  • Create simple animated quote graphics or thumbnails in Canva.

  • Suggest creative improvements for hooks, pacing, or visuals.


🛠 Tools & Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Canva Pro.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud subscription is provided.

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual clarity.

  • Excellent file organization and reliability.

  • Fluent English comprehension and communication.

  • Experience editing for coaches, podcasters, or online experts is strongly preferred.


🔁 Workflow & Communication

  • Daily 10–60 minute stand-up call (Mon–Fri).

  • Async communication via Slack, Trello, or Notion.

  • Proactive mindset: ask questions, flag issues early, suggest improvements.

  • Consistent daily output and clear progress updates.


🎨 Brand Style

  • Clean, minimal, modern.

  • Calm, confident, feminine energy.

  • Prioritize clarity and authenticity over flashy effects.

  • Story-driven and emotionally resonant.

  • High-volume, on-brand content delivered consistently.

🕒 Time & Compensation

  • Full-time (40 hours/week).
    Compensation fixed in USD

  • Paid monthly via Wire transfer or Payoneer.

  • Flexible timezone (async work is fine; daily stand-up required).

  • Opportunity to grow into a lead editor role as content volume increases.
