  • Advanced knowledge of data management, information technology, Windows operating systems, mail clients, and network devices.

  • Strong knowledge of modern computer hardware, printers, networking equipment, and other IT-related devices.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network, printer, and system-related technical issues.

  • Excellent team management, customer handling, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on providing timely and user-oriented IT support.

Job Purpose:

Sr. Officer, MIS is responsible for planning, development and implement of data collection hierarchy and support programme management for tracking, and monitoring and evaluating the process of service provide mechanism to forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist to develop a policy to ensure data accuracy and security of Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme.

  • Assist to develop and implement standard MIS across all sectors of Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme with efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Be responsible for the identification, measurement, accumulation, analysis, preparation and communication regarding data as used by management to plan, evaluate and control the programme.

  • Preserve the accumulated data to ensure the data analysis to prepare daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly MIS reports for both the internal management and external stakeholders.

  • Incorporate changing need of programme within ongoing MIS infrastructure of Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme.

  • Conduct training on MIS activities to increase staff expertise.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
