Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum LL.B. (Hon's) from a reputed and UGC recognized University.
∎ Candidates with LL.M. will have an added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handling land related issues, including but not limited to, vetting, record of rights, registration process, preparation of title deeds, verification at relevant government offices and providing clearance for ownership transfer.
∎ Responsible for various corporate, legal and regulatory matters, including but not limited to: corporate governance, legal compliance, laws and regulations, policies, disputes, claims, litigation etc.
∎ Assisting in reviewing various Agreement templates (i.e., Service Level Agreement, Rental Agreement, NDA, Distributor Agreement, Supplier Agreement etc.) and finalize them according to the requirement of the Company.
∎ Providing legal opinions in respect of proposed business agreements, procurement agreements, legal claims, Legal Notice, Company Laws, Mercantile Laws, Labor Laws, Criminal and other relevant laws.
∎ Handling company litigation upon consultation with the Management and maintaining liaison with outside counsels.
∎ Ensure archiving of all legal documents including Digital archiving.
∎ Ensure protection of Intellectual Properties (IP) of the Company (Trademarks, Design, Patent, Copy Right etc.) through registration, renewal of registration and defending against infringements and violations through external lawyers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Excellent knowledge on understanding and interpretation of laws and jurisprudence.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Computer literacy of MS Office and be able to manage Bangla typing.
∎ Membership with Bar Council.
∎ Experience in a land developer organization and/or ISP, IT enable service will be an added advantage.
