∎ The role: The Senior Officer-Health Information System will be responsible for maintaining project database, analysing and preparing reports within stipulated timeline under the overall guidance of Technical Manager & facilitating the information capture and output of data from all clinical health sites, and validating data quality from project sites. The role will primarily include responding to the needs of the health projects, and will necessitate interaction with partners, clinic staff, and beneficiary HHs (among others). This will also include some operational management, including acting as the administrative focal point for clinical field teams. S/he will also accountable for producing any daily, weekly, and regular reports for both external and internal organisational needs. S/he will also perform regular oversight of the Bangladesh health data within the DHIS2/IMPACT information system, including monitoring data capture, quality and ensure data entry, quality check and monthly Donor narrative report.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years driving experience in a relevant technical area, preferably in health MIS in development sector
∎ Excellent knowledge of information system, database management, writing donor reporting.
∎ Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team, under pressure and in a sensitive environment
∎ Data analysis skills using SPSS/STATA & Excel, sufficient skills on software installation.
∎ Good communication skills in English, Bangla of multi-cultural international environments
∎ Good organisational skills to support data documentation, reporting, and dissemination of information
∎ Experience with utilising DHIS2 information systems
∎ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, especially for quantitative data
