Responsibilities & Context:
Moontaha Apparels Ltd the 100 % export oriented Garments industry and a leading manufacturer of RMG under the Moontaha Group of Industries having more than 15 years of RMG export business engaged in Bangladesh with honest reputation and active challenging participation are looking for dynamic and experienced young professionals to the post of Sr: Merchandiser of Merchandising for it’s Knitting division. ·
Plan and design merchandising strategies that fulfill customer expectations as well as the company`s goals.·
Analyze sales numbers, consumer reactions and market trends to forecast product demand and develop product lines.·
Negotiate pricing, quantities, and timeframes with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts.
Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.·
Prepare costing and confirmation of price, placement of order.·
Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.·
Ensure on-time shipment and monitoring.·
To be responsible for monitoring and sourcing complete sample, lab dips, accessories, trims from home & abroad and communicate with various suppliers to get the current price.·
This position is responsible for developing new customer.·
Strong & Adequate working knowledge of sourcing, Market Survey, Negotiation Skill·
Good knowledge in price quotation and product development.·
Sound knowledge on production (patter, consumption and wash etc.)·
Candidate has to coordinate with marketing, design, supply chain, production & store department of the company very professionally.·
To mediate production and quality department and work closely with QA to ensure best final product & take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production·
Co-ordinates with production team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer.·
Try to give maximum lead time to production & thinking for maximum profit from all merchandise.·
Ability to work as a team Leader·
The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven with amicable personality·
Any others job assigned by management.
