Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage denim bottom programs from development to shipment
✅ Handle buyer communications independently
✅ Develop and cost denim products accurately
✅ Coordinate with sourcing, production, washing, quality, and commercial teams
✅ Follow up on sample development, approvals, and bulk production
✅ Negotiate prices and delivery schedules with buyers and suppliers
✅ Ensure on-time shipment and customer satisfaction
✅ Analyze market trends, fabrics, washes, and denim innovations
Requirements:
✔️ Minimum 5–8 years of merchandising experience in denim bottoms
✔️ Strong knowledge of jeans, chinos, cargos, shorts, and fashion bottoms
✔️ Experience working with international retailers and brands
✔️ Sound understanding of fabrics, washes, trims, costing, and production processes
✔️ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
✔️ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and merchandising documentation
✔️ Ability to work independently under pressure
