• Preferred candidate should have 4 years degree or diploma, regular course in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.

• Must have completed at least 2 projects (School, mix use or commercial, hospitals, Hotel) as MEP Site Engineer or Project Engineer. totally 9-12 years working experience.

• Speak, write and read English frequently with Bangla.

• Have good project administration and management skills.

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications, and review, comment on shop drawings submitted by Vendors for correction, in terms of design requirements, constructability point.

• Have in-depth knowledge in execution of Substation, GIS, Pump room setup, BMS,PA,FAS,AV,IT,DATA/TELEPHONE and building codes and regulations, local & international construction practices.

• Expert in computer skills, MS office and AUTO CAD etc, shall be competent to prepare quantity, measurement for placing order and site execution.

• Hands on experience in testing and commissioning of the projects with reference to BNBC, ASTM and other applicable codes of building works.

Responsibility of the Sr MEP Engineer

• Working as part of the construction management team, reporting to the Project Manager, Sr. MEP Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the project relating to building services, Electrical and Plumbing works. Good knowledge in HVAC (VRF, Chillar) and Fire life safety works is plus.

• To ensure that the day-to-day duties by the MEP junior staff are performed professionally and expeditiously to support the ongoing progress of the project.

• Acting as MEP Inspectors upon execution is completed by sub-contractors. And leading sub-contractors to achieve the targets as per the Programme, arranging and deploying the worker to achieve daily targets as per GFC drawings.

• Coordination with technical consultants, area In-charge (Sr. civil engineer), HSE team for preparing and getting approval of all work method statements, risk analysis, MEPF specific.

• Assist the Project manager in Developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control system MEPF specific (QAQC) during the execution till handing over of the Project.

• Prepare progress reports, material requisition for all electrical and mechanical items, lighting fixture, wiring, switch sockets, cables, DBs, SDBs under guidance of the Project Manager.

• Arranging to prepare and submit the as built drawings, manuals, certificates etc to facility management team in coordination with Design consultants and specialized vendors.
