Preferred candidate should have 4 years degree or diploma, regular course in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
Must have completed at least 2 projects (School, mix use or commercial, hospitals) as MEP Site Engineer or Project Engineer. totally 8-10 years working experience
Speak, write and read English frequently with Bangla.
Have good project administration and management skill, have good knowledge of local standards & building codes.
Read and interpret drawings and specifications, review and comment on shop drawings submitted by vendors. able to make and implement inspection and testing plan, works specific checklist. HVAC (VRF/VRV Chillar), related ducting works, Fire alarm, Fire Protection and detection system, Plumbing and pumps rooms.
Use computer programs specific to the construction industry, such as scheduling and estimating software, MS office and CAD.
Responsibility of the Sr Mechanical Engineer (HVAC, Fire, Plumbing):
Working as part of the construction management team, reporting to the Project Manager, Sr. Mechanical Engineer (HVAC, Fire life safety, Plumbing) is responsible for all aspects of the project relating to building services.
To ensure that the day-to-day activities are performed professionally and expeditiously to support the ongoing progress of the project.
Acting as Inspectors upon execution is completed by sub-contractors. And leading sub-contractors to achieve the targets as per the Programme, arranging and deploying the worker to achieve daily targets as per GFC drawings.
Coordination with Consultants, area In-charge (Sr. civil engineer) preparing and getting approval of all work method statements, risk analysis, MEPF specific.
Assist the Project manager in Developing and implementing quality assurance and control system MEPF specific (QAQC), and support in issuing work completion certificate to specialised vendors.
Prepare progress reports, material requirements (MRF) able to submit well in advance, considering lead time and in line with requirements as per project progress.
Arranging to prepare and submit the as built drawings, manuals, certificates etc to facility management team in coordination with Design consultants and specialized vendors.
Support in temporary construction activities such as dewatering, plumbing and sanitation for site facilities, workers accommodation.
