Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and supervise the daily operations of the factory, which encompasses the assembly, pressing, and molding facilities.
∎ Guarantee the injection molding department's optimal operation in the production of plastic parts.
∎ Establish and execute quality control procedures to guarantee that products meet the highest standards.
∎ Conduct consistent assessments of production processes to guarantee compliance with quality and safety protocols.
∎ Promptly address any quality control issues, minimize production downtime, and ensure the integrity of the product.
∎ Oversee the research and development activities and propose innovative ideas to enhance the efficiency and speed of the process.
∎ Collaborate with SCM to manage procurement timelines for imported components, thereby guaranteeing the seamless operation of productions.
∎ Maintain a consistent supply chain by overseeing inventory management, storage, and logistics.
∎ Enhance productivity by optimizing material handling and storage throughout the 100,000-sf facility.
∎ Create and supervise production schedules to ensure that monthly output objectives are achieved.
∎ Improve the efficacy of production and minimize waste by identifying areas for improvement in the factory's operational processes.
∎ Ensure the seamless integration of locally manufactured and imported components by planning and supervising the assembly lines.
∎ Led a team of factory supervisors, technicians, and assembly line staff, providing 5S/KAIZEN training and guidance to enhance performance.
∎ Cultivate an environment that prioritizes safety, collaboration, and ongoing development.
∎ Conduct consistent performance evaluations and execute corrective measures as required.
∎ Ensure that all factory operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
∎ Work in conjunction with senior management to develop innovative concepts for future production lines, including gas stoves, cables, and home appliances.
∎ Offer suggestions and insights to optimize the factory layout and resources in anticipation of the anticipated expansion.
