Job Responsibilities:
∎ To Lead Technical Design team and maintain close relationship with Customer and factory partners
∎ Analyze garments and patterns to ensure compliance of spec, construction, and fit intent
∎ Ability to provide technical fit comments and advise suggested construction details with customer and factory partners.
∎ Review production and quality issues: problem solve and make recommendations that help maintain brand integrity
∎ Maintain a working knowledge of appropriate fit aesthetic for the Reformation customer
∎ Collaborate with the Technical Design team to create and carry out new processes to improve product workflow
∎ Develop collaborative relationships with cross functional teams
∎ Onboard, train, and supervise assisting staff
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Local and Expat both are encouraged to apply.
∎ 6 - 8+ years of working experience in Technical Design team
∎ Previous experience with Women’s apparel and Men’s apparel.
∎ Interpret design intent and create alternative solutions.
∎ Proven track record of growing businesses, identifying trends and delivering results.
∎ Solid understanding of the marketplace and competitive set.
∎ Exceptional knowledge and eye for fit, garment construction and finishing.
∎ Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.
∎ Ability to multitask, problem solve and work in fast-paced environment under pressure.
∎ Knowledge of PLM, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook and Gerber is a plus.
