• Lead the mechanical maintenance function for the cement grinding plant during setup and operational phases.

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure optimal equipment reliability and plant readiness.    

• Develop and execute annual maintenance plans aligned with organizational goals.    

• Establish and manage preventive and corrective maintenance systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.    

• Receive, prioritize, and monitor work orders to ensure timely execution and closure.    

• Diagnose equipment issues, oversee troubleshooting activities, and minimize downtime through effective interventions.    

• Drive operational excellence initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline maintenance processes, and improve overall plant performance.

• Optimize departmental workflows and integrate processes into ERP systems for better control and transparency.

• Promote and integrate sustainability practices, ensuring environmental responsibility and ethical operational standards.    

• Collaborate with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth plant operations.    

• Prepare and manage the annual departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

• Implement strategic initiatives to reduce maintenance costs while maintaining operational reliability.

• Ensure effective spare parts planning and inventory control to minimize equipment downtime and maintenance costs.

• Maintain optimal stock levels and coordinate procurement to support maintenance requirements.    

• Review, standardize, and circulate SOPs to ensure smooth and consistent operations.    

• Implement and monitor machine health check systems through CLIT processes to enhance equipment reliability.    

• Establish a strong reporting culture within the department for performance tracking and decision-making.    

• Monitor key maintenance KPIs and ensure regular review and continuous improvement.    

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to enhance technical capability and performance.    

• Drive employee motivation, engagement, and accountability through regular feedback and coaching.

• Develop succession planning to ensure continuity in key roles and processes.    

• Ensure effective annual departmental planning, execution, and regular follow-up against defined targets.    

• Identify improvement opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance functions.
