Job Context

Nishi Salvage & Diving is one of Bangladesh's leading commercial diving and underwater engineering companies, specializing in underwater inspection, salvage, hull cleaning, underwater repair, offshore support, and marine engineering services. We are looking for enthusiastic Diploma Engineers to join our Operations Team. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. The selected candidates will assist the Operations Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial diving, underwater inspection, and marine engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager in planning and coordinating daily operational activities.

  • Coordinate commercial diving, underwater inspection (UWI), hull cleaning, and propeller polishing projects.

  • Assist in underwater class inspections, CCTV inspections, and marine surveys.

  • Support salvage operations, wreck removal, emergency response, and underwater repair works.

  • Coordinate manpower, diving equipment, vessels, tools, and logistics for project execution.

  • Attend vessels in Open sea and Outer Anchorage for jobs.

  • Prepare daily operational reports, technical reports, inspection reports, and project documentation.

  • Maintain communication with clients, vessel masters, ship managers, surveyors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Assist in preparing quotations, work schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and technical proposals.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

  • Maintain inventory and proper maintenance records of diving equipment and marine tools.

  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, industry standards, and operational requirements.

  • Visit vessels, ports, offshore locations, and project sites as required.

Educational Requirements

  • Diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Shipbuilding Technology, Ship Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in Marine Field is preferred
