Experience:
Relevant Professional certification/Training will be considered as an advantage.
Prepare preliminary cost estimates and initial Bills of Quantities based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Develop and maintain project-specific BOQ formats in Microsoft Excel.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, rate analyses, and project budgets.
Calculate quantities for civil, architectural, interior, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.
Prepare item descriptions, technical specifications, unit rates, and detailed cost breakdowns.
Develop competitive and strategic bids with detailed material, labour, equipment, overhead, and project-cost analyses.
Maintain updated material and labour-rate databases through regular market surveys and supplier quotations.
Review architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, interior, and other relevant drawings before preparing the BOQ.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Collect approved drawings, designs, floor layouts, working drawings, specifications, and other required documents from the relevant departments.
Identify discrepancies, missing information, and coordination issues in drawings and communicate them to the concerned teams.
Prepare and modify working drawings in AutoCAD when required.
Prepare tender BOQs, revised BOQs, variation orders, comparative statements, and final BOQs.
Conduct value engineering to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality, functionality, or design intent.
Prepare and maintain material sample lists, sample boards, and material approval records.
Review and verify construction and interior-work bills against the approved BOQ, drawings, specifications, site measurements, and Measurement Book.
Collect, check, and maintain Measurement Books for running and final billing purposes.
Prepare interim payment certificates, running bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills using documents provided by the project-management and site teams.
Conduct site visits when required to verify quantities, measurements, work progress, variations, and completed works.
Prepare BOQ revisions, cost comparisons, project-cost reports, and final cost reconciliation statements.
Monitor budget versus actual expenditure and report significant cost variances.
Maintain proper documentation of estimates, quotations, approvals, measurements, variations, bills, and reconciliation records.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
