About the Role
Responsible for designing, planning, and supporting the installation of glass and façade systems for residential and commercial buildings.
Job Description
Position: Engineer – Glazing Solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Designing of glazing, curtain wall, window, and façade systems.
Review architectural and structural drawings.
Prepare shop drawings and technical details.
Select appropriate glass, aluminum, and hardware materials.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Provide technical support during fabrication and installation.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and project documentation.
Monitor project quality, schedule, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
Keen knowledge of glazing systems, curtain walls, aluminum façades, and glass products.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other BIM software is an advantage.
Familiarity with structural calculations and relevant building codes.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
Preferred Experience:
4 – 6 years of experience in relevant field. Experience of work in reputed glazing companies will be considered as extra qualification.
Experience with fabrication and installation of façade systems.
Understanding of thermal, acoustic, and structural performance requirements.
