Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare/verify HVAC base design package in line with other discipline requirements & specifications.
∎ Study & prepare recommendation on the in-detail layout plan, equipment details, site related information, investigation reports & drawings of the project provided by consultant/vendor.
∎ Review engineering design package for constructability issues prior to issuance to the contractor.
∎ Support plant team in improving existing steam & compressed air generation, distribution & piping network systems.
∎ Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors & other disciplines.
∎ Develop a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and support plant team to deliver effectively.
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of energy (power, air, steam, gas, etc) and measure units of utilities outsourced, produced, utilized and waste through monthly reporting.
∎ Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
∎ Supervise assigned mechanical maintenance activities, assign people and coordinate with responsible parties/suppliers.
∎ Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
∎ Manage, coach and develop a high-performing maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 55 years
∎ Proven, progressive, hands-on mechanical/electrical engineering and project management experience on a variety of projects including but not limited to: steam generation & distribution pipeline networks, condensate recovery systems, HVAC on industrial applications, water pumping station, water treatment plants and supportive ancillary works.
∎ Lead multi-discipline projects and teams to successful commissioning.
∎ Good understanding of piping and layout preparation, sizing calculations, equipment and selection etc.
