Job Context

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can take a leading role in maintaining and evolving our core software platforms. This is not a typical feature development role. The position requires someone capable of managing complex systems, designing scalable architecture, and making key technical decisions.

You will work on a large-scale multi-tenant Laravel ecosystem and help transition parts of the platform into modern decoupled frontends and scalable Node.js microservices. The role requires strong problem-solving ability to bridge stable legacy systems with modern performance standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a large-scale multi-tenant Laravel codebase.

• Design and implement scalable backend architecture.

• Gradually modernize legacy UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Optimize controllers, database queries, and system performance for high user loads.

• Implement secure API architecture and follow security best practices.

• Ensure high system reliability and maintain platform uptime.

• Establish coding standards, documentation practices, and system security guidelines.

• Provide technical mentorship to developers when needed.

Core Technical Requirements

Backend Development

• Strong expertise in PHP / Laravel (Laravel 11+) with large codebases.

• Experience with complex Eloquent relationships, authentication systems, and middleware.

• Strong experience with Node.js (TypeScript preferred), Express.js, or Nest.js.

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and data isolation models.

• Knowledge of OWASP security standards, encryption, and secure API development.

Frontend Development

• Experience working with Laravel Blade and modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Next.js.

• Strong understanding of UI performance optimization and state management.

• Expertise in Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap 5.

Database, DevOps & Infrastructure

• Advanced SQL knowledge with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Experience in query optimization, indexing, and database scaling.

• Familiar with Linux server administration, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or DigitalOcean.

Knowledge of Redis caching and queue systems.
