Additional Requirements:
∎ At least partial progress towards any reputed accounting qualification (ICAB/ACCA/ICMAB/CIA/others).
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
∎ Stakeholder management skills.
∎ Integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
∎ Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review the organization's processes, policies, and procedures to identify areas of improvement and efficiency.
∎ Provide recommendations for process enhancements or automation initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
∎ Lead and manage internal audit engagements from planning to reporting phase, ensuring compliance with professional standards and internal audit policies.
∎ Conduct detailed audit fieldwork, including interviews, documentation review, and testing of controls, to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management practices and internal controls.
∎ Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track remediation progress.
∎ Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks to continuously enhance the internal audit function.
∎ Assist in special projects, investigations, and ad-hoc assignments as required.
∎ Review, development, and implementation of Audit Procedures for enhancement of operational efficiency.
∎ Driving alignment with standards and policies across the organization.
∎ Carrying out internal audit projects as per the agile audit methodology and annual plan.
