Educational Requirements:
∎ B.SC in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed Institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Discharge all functions under direct control and supervision of the In charge (MPU).
∎ Take charge of quality control activities of department.
∎ Prepare monthly production schedule and review it weekly, it may change or reschedule to meet it.
∎ Supervise corrective and preventive maintenance (electrical & mechanical) activities in collaboration with maintenance Manager.
∎ Closely work with maintenance Manager (electrical & mechanical) for spare parts requisition and check spare parts, store condition in collaboration with store department.
∎ Assign and control responsibilities of subordinates discussing with In charge.
∎ Confirm Machine Setting before production.
∎ Prepare daily production report & send to Head Office.
∎ Raw Material consumption calculation & requisition raise.
∎ Ensure & Supervise activities of cleaning of all machine under him.
∎ Confirm quality of all Raw Materials & give quality certificate in collaboration with QC officer
∎ Ensure quality of product in production time.
∎ Prepare raw material requisition, handover, and return and send the same to store department through proper channel.
∎
∎ Give /Share Advice to unit in charge for the productivity, improvement of machine, material & people.
∎ Keep liaison between Production and Maintenance department for Maintenance, Store department for Production, Quality Assurance and Administration department for production floor maintenance work.
∎ Perform administrative activities related to the department.
∎ Prepare performance report of subordinates and submit it to HOD in time.
∎ Discharge ISO related activities as per QSP.
∎ Take steps to prepare and safe storage of all records of the department as per ISO Management System and deliver the same according to demand for higher authority.
∎ Discharge such other functions as may be assigned to this post from time to time by higher authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Experience on metal can manufacturing or steel plant & must have a good knowledge about production & maintenance
∎ Must have leadership qualities, initiative, drive, self-motivation and capabilities to properly supervise activities of employees working under this post.
∎ Must have good command over both Bangla and English.
∎ Must have computer skills( M.S Office with Auto-CAD)
