• Strong knowledge of IE tools, SMV, work study, and productivity analysis

• Sound understanding of woven cutting processes and fabric behavior

• Experience in fabric utilization and marker efficiency improvement

• Proficiency in MS Excel and IE reporting

• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines

Job Context

MBM Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading apparel manufacturing organizations, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Executive – IE (Cutting) for its Woven garments units. The position is responsible for improving cutting section productivity, efficiency, and fabric utilization through effective industrial engineering practices, supporting the company’s operational excellence and quality objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct time & motion study in the cutting section

• Calculate, analyze, and maintain cutting SMV for different styles

• Monitor cutting efficiency, productivity, and capacity utilization

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly IE performance reports

• Plan and balance manpower and machines in the cutting section

• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Reduce fabric wastage and improve marker efficiency

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, QA, Store, and CAD/Marker teams

• Ensure compliance with IE standards, quality requirements, and safety policies
