Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of buyer quality standards, SOPs, and inspection systems
- Proven leadership and problem-solving capability
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with buyers’ local & home offices
- Comfortable providing direct written and verbal feedback
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of factory management
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
Responsibilities & Context:
- Act as Buyer’s Quality Representative within the factory
- Ensure adherence to buyer quality procedures, manuals, and standards
- Communicate directly with Buyer QA, Local Office, and Home Office
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Merchandising, Technical & Maintenance teams
- Arrange and lead Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) with buyers and internal teams
- Prepare and explain Corrective Action Plans (CAP) related to product quality
- Ensure quality requirements from raw material in-house to final shipment
- Ensure on-time submission of all production and quality samples
- Maintain strong knowledge of self-inspection systems as per buyer requirements
- Support and handle buyer quality visits and inspections
- Lead discussions on inline, pre-final, and final inspection findings
- Ensure effective and timely corrective actions for quality issues
- Provide clear quality guidelines to Section Heads and Production Teams
- Ensure garments are produced strictly as per buyer specifications
- Plan, execute, implement, and improve overall GPQ / Product Quality functions
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management from time to time
