Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.

- Age 28 to 45 years
- 7-10 years of practical experience in metal fabrication, machining, or workshop management.
- Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, machining, and finishing processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of workshop machines (cutting, grinding, welding sets, etc.).
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Capable to work under pressure
Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise daily operations of the metal workshop, including cutting, welding, machining, fitting, and finishing.
Plan, assign, and monitor tasks for workshop staff, ensuring timely completion of workshop jobs to meet project timelines.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop equipment, tools, and machines.
Monitor quality standards for all fabricated products and ensure adherence to specifications.
Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain inventory of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts; coordinate procurement.
Provide technical guidance, training, and support to workshop technicians and helpers.
Prepare job schedules, progress reports, and production records.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure preventive maintenance of machinery.
Coordinate with project engineers for technical drawings, requirements, and deadlines.
Identify areas for process optimization and waste reduction.
Introduce new methods, techniques, and technologies to improve efficiency.
Motivate staff to achieve higher productivity and quality standards.
