B.Sc./Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in the sales and service of engines, generators, spare parts, lube oil, or industrial equipment (preferably in a similar industry).
Strong understanding of diesel engines, alternators, and power systems.
Proven ability to handle customer service independently in field conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer focus and problem-solving ability.
Sound technical knowledge with hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Time management and planning ability.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital reporting tools.
The incumbent will visit customer sites from his own home and must have a valid driving license and own a motorbike for field visits.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone.
Travel expenses will be borne by the company as per policy.
Drive sales and service operations for engines, generators, and forklifts within the assigned zone to achieve business targets.
Conduct market research and identify new customers for Cummins Generator, Engine, Marine Generator & Engine, Spare Parts, Lube Oil, and Hyster product sales.
Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer accounts to ensure high satisfaction and sustained business growth.
Conduct site visits, technical evaluations, and product presentations to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of machines at customer sites with precision and professionalism.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, overhauling, AMC visits, and repairs using accurate diagnostics, ensuring completion within the estimated timeline.
Offer dedicated post-installation support to maximize customer satisfaction and foster long-term maintenance partnerships
Respond promptly to field service calls, efficiently addressing customer queries and resolving complaints on-site until all issues are fully resolved.
Promote and encourage customers to expand their Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) to maintain service benefits.
