Job Responsibilities:
∎ To Lead a Brand Performance Sourcing team to execute global supply chain strategies to drive value and achieve business goals.
∎ Articulate strategic vision and balance business with strong operational integrated supply chain experience to deliver best in class performance products in a competitive global marketplace.
∎ Collaborate with Supply Business Lead to develop, maintain and communicate short and long term in-region supply chain strategy in support of global brand strategy and budget.
∎ Partner with Global Supply Chain Business Lead on global vendor strategy with ownership of regional vendor allocation to support business needs.
∎ Develop high performing team through the acquisition and growth of best in class talent committed to a shared value system of integrity and collaboration.
∎ Optimize product cost by understanding macroeconomic climate, unlocking value and delivering against business goals.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age N/A
∎ At least 15 to 20 years of experience in Garments/ Buying/ Liaison Office in Quality Assurance Department, preferably with USA based brands/ Liaison Office
∎ Extensive hands-on global supply chain knowledge and experience
∎ Extensive knowledge of raw materials, construction, costing, macro-economic, trends and capacity planning
∎ Strong background on Product Development and R&D
∎ In-depth knowledge of sourcing and production organizations
∎ In-depth knowledge of multi-tiered sourcing strategies
∎ Knowledge of global trade policies and legislative action
∎ Sound communication and strong interpersonal skills
∎ Fluent in both spoken and written English and Bangla
