Job Context:
∎ Business Intelligence Developer
∎ A Business Intelligence Developer is a software development professional that produces data deliverables such as Dashboards, KPI, Data Visualizations, Analytics, Reports, Data feeds according to the software development lifecycle and provides end users with easy to understand information from the complex and detailed data.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excel: able to use filters, formulas, vlookups, Pivot Table etc to cleanse and prepare data for analysis or to perform ad-hoc comparisons of data for report validations
∎ Database knowledge: Strong knowledge in Advanced SQL Programming (Trigger, Package, Procedure, Functions etc.), Writing efficient SQL with joining, Merge,
∎ Programming knowledge: Conceptual understanding of program logic flow. No specific language is needed. But it's very important to understand standard coding logic, such as IF / THEN / ELSE, CASE, string, date, number type conversion concepts, algebra formula concepts.
∎ Reporting knowledge: Experience with business intelligence and visualization toolkits such as Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft PowerBI, Cognos, R or Python required.
∎ Experience with visual GUI or development IDE. Tableau is visual Windows software and uses a visual IDE to create reports. The candidate should be experienced and comfortable with working in this environment. There is no command line interface; it is all visual.
∎ Ability to create SSRS SQL reports
∎ Ability to read, understand and develop in TSQL and Oracle PL/SQL is preferred.
∎ Self-motivated, willing to learn independently. Willing and able to find solutions using Google and other Tableau support forums
∎ Tenacious, determined to stick with issues until they are solved. Does not give up when frequently faced with challenging data issues.
∎ Must poses excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 70000 - 90000 (Monthly)
∎ Based on Experience
