∎ Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (Mandatory)·
∎ AWS Certified Security - Specialty·
∎ AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
∎ Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
∎ 8+ years AWS network and Cloud Infrastructure administration (AWS)– specifically supporting public facing DMZ environments.
∎ Experience working with PCI-DSS environment will be highly regarded.
∎ Experience in managing and setting up WAN and LAN
∎ Experience working with Stakeholders Globally and supporting global IT team.
∎ Fluency in English and basic Japanese will be highly regarded but not mandatory.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, implement, and maintain (AWS VPC- Private and Public- DMZ architecture) secure cloud-hosted network infrastructure - including VPNs, Gateways, Switch, DNS/Route 53, Firewalls, Load balancers(ELB), VPC endpoints, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Transit Gateway, Client VPN endpoints, AWS site to site VPN (VGW to Customer Gateway)etc.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
∎ AWS - WAF, Advance Schield, Guard Duty, Inspector, KMS (key management service), Cloud Front etc on the DMZ environments.
∎ Implement and manage security measures to protect systems, networks, and data.
∎ Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation activities to mitigate risks.
∎ Play a key role in assisting with security audit.
∎ Manage a variety of AWS cloud services (in addition to those mentioned above) to optimize resource utilization and scalability. Includes EC2 instances, RDS (database service) Security Groups, CloudTrail, IAM, and others. Etc.
∎ Experience with MySQL and SQL Server databases.
∎ IT security, operational procedures, and disaster recovery
∎ Experience with storage administration (EBS- Elastic Block storage).
∎ Experience with CI/CD tools like AWS Code Pipeline/Jump Server.
∎ Setting up email (SES) and SMS (SNS) from EC2 etc.
∎ Develop and maintain (SQL Server and MySQL databases) backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection and business continuity.
∎ Perform regular testing and updates to ensure readiness in case of an incident.
∎ Maintain AWS S3 offsite backups (with KMS) via VPC endpoints (gateway).
∎ Perform restore exercise time to time to validate backup.
∎ Strong Infrastructure and DMZ Design experience specially on the AWS cloud environment.
∎ AWS cloud Watch and relevant services.
∎ Utilize automation tools and scripting languages to streamline administrative tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
∎ Network Infrastructure:
