∎ AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Phulbaria, Tetuljhora, Savar, Dhaka and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for an energetic, dedicated and experienced Security Officer for the Factory.
∎ Duty/Responsibility:
∎ The general duties and responsibilities of a security officer are as follows (but not limited to):
∎ 1. Ensuring on-time attendance of team members in the ongoing process of the factory and the timely opening and closing of factory gates.
∎ 2. Carrying out all task of security department implementing CT-PAT policies/instructions at all times. Must keep all documents maintained in security department updated all times to face Audit readily anytime.
∎ 3. Ensuring both safety & security of factory personnel, assets and information.
∎ 4. Prepare daily & weekly duty roster for the duty of security supervisors and guards.
∎ 5. Ensuring security guards and supervisors perform their duties, supervising and supporting subordinates, arranging medical help for sick staff, and assisting workers at the gate.
∎ 6. Ensuring that all gate passes and invoices have the necessary seal or signature and that no products are allowed to leave or enter the factory without the appropriate paperwork.
∎ 7. Sending daily and monthly lists/reports of goods in and out of the factory to appropriate authorities.
∎ 8. Safety must be ensured through proper supervision during the loading and unloading process of goods in transit.
∎ 9. Taking the approval of the concerned officials regarding the appointment of new security guards as per demand.
∎ 10. Arranging effective training for security personnel and ensuring participation in various trainings as required.
∎ 11. Listen to supervisors, guards, and checkers, address their issues, monitor factory safety, and report any problems or exceptions to superiors for action.
∎ 12. Perform assigned duties while maintaining good communication with all departments and knowing key personnel, owners, their families, and senior officials of sister companies.
∎ 13. Uphold order & discipline of the factory following Bangladesh Labor Law, Company Policies, CT-PAT Policies etc.
∎ 14. To ensure orderly entry and exit of workers in the factory. Keeping a watchful eye so that outsiders do not stand unnecessarily outside the gate during leave or entry.
∎ 15. If there are any personal or collective grievances of the workers or outsiders of the factory, they should be brought to the attention of the HR department for immediate disposal.
∎ 16. Preparing and updating various work reports, compliance documents and providing necessary reports to senior officers and other related departments as applicable.
∎ 17. Address leave or pay issues of subordinates fairly, coordinating with the HR department, and ensure no discrimination.
∎ 18. Carry out any additional instruction given by AGM (Admin & Security) and being ready to except any work/activity as per demand of the situation that favor the Company.
