Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Soil Science, Master of Science (MSc) in Antomology, Master of Science (MSc) in Plant Pathology
∎ M.Sc. in Plant Pathology / Soil Science / Entomology.
∎ Skills Required: Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Back Office Attachment
∎ Act as a knowledge channel and support our tech-development team with domain-specific knowledge about soil health, plant nutrition, plant pathology, plant nutrition, insect-pest management, etc.
∎ Helping the tech-development team with knowledge needed for product integration.
∎ Creating knowledge partnership with relevant entities as required on due course.
∎ Front Field Attachment
∎ Participation during product development and deployment-based field trials
∎ Engaging with field agents, partners and farmers, staying updated with the domain specific problems they might be facing and providing them with domain-specific knowledge regarding our products as needed.
∎ Analyze and interpret data collected from experiments, field trials, and surveys to the tech-development team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Standard expertise in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Having familiarization with R-programming and ArcGIS will be an advantage
∎ Standard knowledge base about precision technologies, digital instrumentation, and climate-smart agricultural practices worldwide.
∎ Standard knowledge about SDGs and their target agendas.
∎ Open-minded, willing to experiment within acceptable boundaries, and enthusiastic about iterating, learning, and deploying.
∎ Be able to work independently and contribute to the team.
∎ Flexible to travel to the countryside and abroad on demand.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
