Job Responsibilities:
∎ Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc), taking into account the company's goals and financial standing.
∎ Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
∎ Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated business and financial status and risk reports.
∎ Develop business case and financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
∎ Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
∎ Identify industry trends, advise the company, and recommend actions to the executive director of finance based on sound analysis.
∎ Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts.
∎ Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
∎ Support the management in process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the company's business function.
∎ Identify different investment and funding opportunities and transform data into meaningful stories/bids/proposals that suit those opportunities.
∎ Support the management in presenting its business cases to local and global audiences through insightful presentations that include but are not limited to business notes, one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Standard expertise in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Proven working experience as an Investment Analyst in any development fund/INGO/startup
∎ Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
∎ Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
∎ Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills in both Bengali and English.
∎ Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
∎ Well-informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments
Salary: Tk. 35000 - 40000 (Monthly)
